History: Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II founded 'The
Pink City', Jaipur in 1727. In order to accommodate the increasing
population of Amber, Jai Singh thought of building a new and
safer city that now stands as a crown in Rajasthan's hospitality
called Jaipur. Built according to the principles of Shilpa
Shastra, Jaipur was designed by Vidyadhar Bhattacharya, Jai
